Sigler Companies is First Printer in Iowa to Achieve MasterPrinter, FSC and SFI Certifications

Ames, IOWA, November 1, 2007 – Sigler Companies announced today that it is the first Iowa printer to achieve three of the printing industry's most sought-after recognitions: MasterPrinter, FSC certification and SFI certification.

The most recent certifications recognizing Sigler as a 'green' printer were awarded by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), the two certifying organizations which set the standards for responsible forest use, management and sustainability. The certifications come after a rigorous documentation and audit process conducted at Sigler Companies' new printing facility at 3100 South Riverside Drive in Ames.

Sigler Companies achieved MasterPrinter designation in October 2006 from the International Digital Enterprise Alliance (IDEAlliance®) in recognition of the company's "use of the very latest technology, techniques, process controls and standards required to consistently produce high-quality printing," according to David Hunter, Principal of Pilot Marketing Group.
