Sigler Companies Earns Recycling Excellence Award

Ames, IOWA, May 18, 2007 – Sigler Companies, a creative services, printing, apparel and promotions business, has earned recognition for its commitment to improving the environment.

Mid America Recycling, one of the nation’s largest private recycling companies, presented Sigler Companies with its Recycling Excellence Award. The honor is bestowed to clients who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to recycling efforts.

In presenting the award, Mid America Recycling recognized Sigler Companies’ 2006 efforts when the company conserved more than 670 tons of resources. The conservation efforts are the equivalent of more than 11,000 mature trees, four million gallons of water, 39 pounds of air pollution, two million kilowatt hours of electricity and two thousand cubic yards of landfill space.

“As a growing business, we are increasingly conscientious of the resources we consume and dispose of every day just to meet our operational demands,” said Beth Cross, Sigler Companies president. “Employees in each of our business units made the commitment to take positive steps toward lessening our impact on the environment. Obviously, they were extremely successful and I applaud them for their efforts.”
