Customer Service Representative
Monitoring incoming jobs from start to finish meeting quality standards and deadlines. Assist outside sales representative and other customers as needed.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter customer orders into the Impress system following procedures. Check all information received from the customer for accuracy and completeness. Collect all necessary information from customer and previous job to complete the job.
- Communicate with customer or Sales Representative to avoid errors or guess work.
- Work with Scheduling Department to meet customer's expectations. Traffic jobs to ensure deadlines will be met. Inform customer and Sales Representative of any changes in delivery dates.
- Provide in-house support for outside Sales Representatives.
- Provide assigned accounts with quotations.
- Initiate and quote change orders as required, keep job ticket information complete, accurate and current.
- Inform customer of any additional costs.
- Quality control final proofs to assure they meet customer requirements.
- Review "Out on proof" job folders daily and Follow up with customers on any outstanding, unapproved designs that may be holding up production.
- Answer phones as needed.
- Maintain clean, neat and orderly workstation.
Desirable Education and Experience
- Customer service in printing and/or apparel industry preferred
